Biography

THE STORY

In 1999, two friends, actress Sadie Frost and fashion designer Jemima French set up the label FrostFrench.

The two professional and family women collaborated to produce an exciting and stylish range of women's clothing. The brand's quirky and inventive designs were quickly admired and gained a celebrity following.

Being working mothers and leading hectic lifestyles, the pair created collections that consisted of high fashion pieces which fulfilled women's desires to be trendy but retained practicality too. The label gained something of a cult status, receiving rave reviews in British and international media.

My personal style is...a mixture between scruffy and classic with a tomboy edge.

My collection is...luxury lingerie and sleepwear full of beautiful prints inspired by Japanese gardens and decorative baroque styles.

I'm inspired by...performance - ballet dancers, trapeze artists or films such as Plein Soleil.

A woman looks great when...She exudes confidence with a natural vulnerability.

A man should always...be honest!

My most treasured possession is...apart from my 4 kids and 2 dogs...my Indian four poster bed!

If I weren't working in fashion...I would love to be a trapeze artist.

My top tip is...not giving yourself a hard time and to be yourself.
