Rated 1 out of 5Â by adamsmc Nice style of bag very poor quality fittings for the price
I really like the style of this bag which my wife bought as a birthday present. After about a year one of the pins holding the handle fell out. I replaced these with a ornate brass bolts. Then after about another year the flap latch complete broke and fell apart. For a bag of this price I would expect the fittings to be of equal quality and last a lot longer than they did. I have had signficantly cheaper bags that have had better lasting fittings.
The bag now is pretty much unusable as cannot get a replacement latch.

I had excellent use from this bag for over 2 years then the lock broke. Judging from other reviewers there is a problem with this feature . It is a shame since otherwise it is well made and designed.
Rated 2 out of 5Â by Laurence Poor quality fixings let this smart bag down badly
i have had the bag for 2 years now. However I rarely carry much more than an iPad and an umbrella, so it isn't being strained by carrying heavy items. After less than a year the pin came out of the carrying handle. I couldn't get it repaired so used good quality sellotape to hold the pin in place. A couple of weeks later the zip pull came off of the internal compartment and then the stitching came undone on the handle making the padding come out.
Today the lock fell apart thus making the bag no longer usable. This isn't very good for a bag at this price. It is a real shame as the design is excellent, even having a strap to slide over a suitcase handle for ease of carrying. Sadly therefore I cannot recommend this product and find it interesting that the other reviewers have all suffered the same faults.

I got this briefcase as a Christmas present and I really liked it. Although after having for just over year the lock broke rendering it completely useless. As the lock, secures the flap to the bag enabling it to be carried. I tried to get the lock replaced through a Leather Smith, but none would undertake the work. Such a shame that such a small and you would think sortable problem can make such a expensive item so useless.
Rated 2 out of 5Â by Ian 2013 I've bought this case twice, but unfortunately I can't recommend it
I bought this case two years ago as it was the right size, the style and design is quite nice and the quality appeared to be good. Unfortunately, the threaded pins that hold the carrying handle to the case came loose and obviously fell out somewhere, which meant I couldn't use it.
I put that down to bad luck and because I liked the case, I bought another one. That'll teach me to be optimistic! After a couple of months the stitching on the carrying handle came undone and I lost one of the pins again!!
I would not recommend you buy this case. I wasted my money twice.
Rated 1 out of 5Â by Neil Nice case .... quality issue
Really nice case, albeit both fixings on the carrying handle have come apart, hence no longer useable. It's a shame that this quality problem means it's a "don't buy"
Rated 2 out of 5Â by Jack Plug Heavy, good quality except..
I carry fairly heavy folders and this bag was big enough but the stitching holding the shoulder strap started to come away. I am living with that but today the grab handle fixing broke and I can't find the bit I need to repair it! The bag is not a year old but at the price point it should be sturdier.

Received the bag as a Christmas present, within 2 weeks the shoulder strap clip came apart so you could no longer use the strap. I was given a replacement strap.
The replacement failed in exactly the same way 10 days later. I decided to fix the clip myself. 8 weeks ago the grab handle fixing broke. Thatâs 3 faults in less than 5 months. I would have expected better quality. Itâs a shame as I like the bag
