Designer black prince side lace shoes
The shoes by Jeff Banks were absolutely lovely except for the fact of being short sighted and thought the laces were purely decorative but would have been unable to see to tie them properly.
Styling is Great but shoe lacks quality
I bought these shoes in 2010 in both black and tan as I really loved the styling. However, I was very disappointed when I noticed that the red coloured inner lining began to make my socks turn red.
Also, the soles wear out within a month of everyday use. I had to take the black pair for repair. I now wear the tan colour only on occasions so the soles can last longer and I don't loose too many pairs of socks to the red dye.
Overall, I would not buy any Jeff Banks shoes again until improvements have been made to the inner lining finish and sole durability.
These shoes had a nice lace up side feature.
Nice shoes unfortunately, they were too narrow for my husband and we had to return them.
For a designer brand I was amazed to see that the leather wasn't true leather but leather look. This mean the leather off cuts have been processed and mixed with glue. This is why my shoes which I have had 2 months have started to crack and peel away. Not a good look with the natural shine the shoes give. These may be nice to wear once in a while but not on a regular basis. Based on this I wouldn't pay the asking price as you can get a equally as good pair of shoes from a popular hight street shop for half the price. There is no difference in quality. You are only paying for the name in this case. Sorry Jeff Banks. I would recommend the brief underware that jeff banks make tho. Very good quality.
Very nice shoes comfortable to wear with unusual styling.
Really classy shoes for evening attire. Lovely quality and really well made. Excellent all round.
I take a size 7.5 and get away with an 8 ususally however I will be placing a insole in these for a tighter fit.
Positive remarks already
Ok, so I've only had them a few days, so I can't comment on longevity. But they certainly attract positive comments! So good, I might get them in brown too.
Very good quality shoe, no doubt about. A few issues I had though:
1) the soles and sides of the shoes had some scuff marks on as if they'd been worn before.
2) the soles are very smooth and meant when I tried them in my office they had a tendency to slide, alot like walking on ice. So i put them back and exchanged them in store.
But I can say they are a good quality shoe and given different circumstances I would have kept them.
