Do not Buy
Unfortunately, I would not recommend this product. I have had to exchange one plane as it would not charge. Having exchanged the product, the second one has the same problem. The cashier said that she has had many planes returned with the same fault.
I have bought a lot of RC planes and this is the easiest of all to fly as long as no wind or sheltered area to fly. you need a reasonable space but not as much as some planes as it flys slow. this is actually my third one. first flew out of range and lost at sea. second wire to motor broke. but it had been hammered and they are so cheap no point fixing. get one.
I bought this for my daughter (10yrs old) as she had watched in wonder at some big expensive rc planes.
We have both enjoyed flying it, it takes little flying time to perfect your skills and as we fly it over sand, it has landed many times with no breakage.
It's stable design means that when you let go of all controls, it just gently glides back down to earth.
I bought it in the sale so was thrilled at the value, although now having used it, I would say it is still a good purchase at full price.
It's only limitation is that due to its small and light size, it is very affected by wind so requires a very still day, especially while learning.
The plane charges off the handset (containing batteries) which with fresh batteries has allowed us to re charge in the field. Once charged, it flies for plenty of time to entertain.
This plane gave hours of fun to grandson ( and his dad )
Excellent RC plane
I brought this plane for my 5 year old as a little present, we took it to the park today as there was no wind and it flew brilliantly and we had lots of fun. You do need to be a bit careful with it as it it easily breakable (think that is why it is for 8 years +) but I would highly recommend it!!
