Once you get the right shade!
2nd Bottle I have purchased & need to mix for the correct shade. This is a lovely foundation, but as I state it is difficult to get the right color.
This is much darker than other Lancome foundations. But once you get to right,
it is superb goes on like a dream & you know it helping your skin, perfect with the SPFs. I will Definitely continue using this.
Expensive but very pleased
Got this in store after getting a sample in 02 Lys Rose. In reply to Bunny's review where I can't seem to comment, this is a nice pale shade and should work for you, or go as low as 01, but I would recommend getting the Lancome counter to do a makeover and colour match for you. She actually agreed the Lys Rose was the right colour for me. Now, the product itself: I was shown how to apply it effectively and basically you start by dabbing the thick corrector on red/problem areas, although I wouldn't recommend putting it around your eyes as it is very thick and then using either a brush or your fingers, blend it in with the foundation and add more corrector at the end if you need to, if say there is still redness or a blemish showing through. You don't need a lot of either the corrector or the foundation; in fact if you use too much it will just sit on top and look unnatural. I would recommend a primer underneath first; Lancome do their own, but bearing in mind I use the Visionnaire as well, there is a limit on a girl's purse strings at the end of the day. I've loved every Lancome product I've trialled and bought and this is no exception, but I would recommend getting a professional colour match done rather than spending out all that money and finding the colour isn't right for you.
One for the olds!
I am 68 and have a lot of skin blemish due to sun damage. Saw an advert for this and as I was the mother of the groom-to-be, I gave it a try. Wow! Where have you been all my life? My skin looks and feels fantastic. Does not irritate the small blemishes and covers everything. With regard to colour, I went to the Lancome counter and got colour matched, so didn`t have a problem. Have had numerous compliments and cannot recommend this enough.
Not for me
I had really high hopes for this foundation and concealer and was left very disappointed. Firstly the concealer... I found this thick and hard to spread, it also sits in creases under the eyes. I have a few fine veins on the bridge of my nose and I found I had to apply a lot of the product to cover them... I will stick to my sheer cover. I thought the foundation had a lovely texture and it was easy to spread evenly and found the colour gave a nice healthy glow... Until 2 hours later, it oxidised and I looked quite orange with the remaining product that was left on my face, half of it had come off and that was using a primer underneath, needless to say I won't be purchasing this again.
I used shade 03 beige diaphane and I have normal skin.
Colour of the Foundation
I have used Lancome for many years. Teint Visionaire is a lovely foundation, but the colours have come up quite dark. I visited various Lancome counters in some of the local stores, and spoke to the Lancome staff, who have had this same feedback from quite a few of their customers. I strongly recommend that you go to one of the Lancome counters and get a colour match before ordering this foundation on line. I have fairly pale skin, and used to use Beige Albatre in Lancome's Color Ideal foundation, which Lancome has now discontinued, but Beige Albatre is too dark in the Teint Visionnaire. I did try Beige Porcelaine 010 in the Teint Visionnaire, but this is slightly dark for me. The lighter shade than this is Beige Ivoire 005, but this was slightly pale for me. I am thinking of trying the Teint Miracle foundation by Lancome as the colours are a better match for my complexion, than the Teint Visionnaire.
Ordered this foundation. It feels great but I ordered the wrong colour it's ways to dark so I am disappointed but its my own fault,I have very pale skin so if anyone could let me know what colour is best.
All Lancome foundations are wonderful but this is truly amazing! Easy to apply and feels very light. Coverage is superb and I love the little pot of corrector. I'm alrready a fan of Visionnaire serum so this complements it nicely. One tiny pump of the fluid is all that is needed for good coverage and the corrector is vey smooth and glides on easily. For a flawless finish you can't go wrong with this!
After years of searching I have finally found the perfect foundation. My skin looks flawless. It is very light but gives great coverage and the finish is perfect. I have also noticed that my skin looks firmer.I would definitely recommend this product.
