Speeds cell turnover; keeping skin clear, smooth, with that Clinique glow. Allows the driest and most delicate skins to reap the advantages of twice-a-day exfoliation. Use twice a day after facial soap. Dampen cotton ball, sweep in one direction over face and throat, avoiding eye and lip area.

I was recommended this product after I purchased the clinique face brush. Compared to the other clinique toners, this toner is perfect. I've used both number 2 and the anti blemish toner before - both caused my skin to tingle. This toner however doesnt cause any irritation and you can see how well it takes off any dirt after you've cleansed.

I started using this clarifying lotion as I wanted to improve the quality and feel of my skin. I am a 40+ year old woman.
The lotion is very good and helps to reduce the number of blemishes I have. It also quickly clears up the blemishes also.
Being a gentle lotion it feels really good on my skin and soothes it after a hard day.
Overall though very good and if you can afford it, a must to have as part of your beauty regime.

i started using this 2 weeks ago instead of my normal clarifying lotion 2, which really dried out my skin, thin lotin is fab, it brought my skin to life, i have excessivley sensitive skin that is oily in places, dry in the cheeks, a truely nightmare skintype, i use it alongside the comforting cream cleanser and dd lotion, my skin looks and feels wonderfull! the only downside is you cant get a bigger bottle like the others

I have acne pron skin and break out almost every week, have already tried clarifying lotion 3 and 2 but as they contain alcohol and they were too harsh for my combination acne skin type so I decided to try this as it says its mild and contains no alcohol but as soon as I started using, it break me out too badly almost very single pore even on my cheek where i never had acne before and my forehead. I tried it on for a week but made my face so worse breaking out badly. I stopped using this lotion and my skin felt better even though it contains no alcohol but still contains high percentage of sylicylic acid for sensitive skin. May be its good for some but not for me and I think not for any one who has combination oily acne skin. I have already tried all lotions 3 and 2 and acne kit also but they all made the skin worse so I think this type of stuff is not good for acne, only soap and lotion is okay if you really want to use it.
Drained down the skin.. Waste of money! Not happy.

I bought this from Debenhams because even with postage it was the lowest price I could find! This is often the case with Debenhams so I always check them out before some of the sites offering so called better prices!

This cleanser really is mild, it's soft and luxurious, it doesn't sting the skin if you have sensitive skin and its a real good deep cleanser

After trying the lotion2, I decided to go for this one. Because that lotion2 has a strong smell of alcohol and my skin doesn't quite like that one. However, when I use this on my face, it gives you a weird feeling that I am not sure if this really exfoliate your skin. For me, I can tell the lotion2 is effective, after using that one, you can feel that you skin becomes smoother. But I don't really feel anything after putting this one on, so I am not sure if my feeling is normal or this one is just not suitable for me. I might recommend my friend to try a trial version before buying the full size.
