It is pleasant for almost any nose, and manages to stay fresh and fashionable year after year. Thus, it remains on the #1 spot.
the one that makes first impression, is flowery (jasmine is the most notable one). Shortly afterwards, a pleasant tingling scent of marine hits your nose, and in the long run you can spot both white musk and cedar. The overall result is aquatic, woody and aromatic - sort of an improvement of Issey Miyake's "aquatic".
Because of its lightness, it is sometimes defined as a "summertime fragrance" but I use it year-round.

Purchased as a gift for my boyfriend, this is my favourite men's eau de toilette. This has a very fresh, clean smell, it is understated yet so very sexy! This is a timeless scent which would be ideal for a classic and confident person, whether they are in their 20s, 30s, 40s or 50s. People have always complimented my boyfriend on this smell- both men and women! Would recommend without hesitation! :)

I bought GIO the first time at Zurich airport for my husband as a Christmas gift.
What a smell! I totally disagree with one of these reviews; the smell lingers for hours and is excellent. It is a truly provocative smelll which has a hint of 'Come closer and love me!'. When my husband has sprayed GIO I can't stop kissing him!
I (we) liked it so much he is already on his 4th bottle and I don't mind the price either as this is fab quality.

I quite liked ADG. It has a very fresh, almost soapy aroma, which lingers for a while but yet is not overpowering.
You may not like it if you're in search for yet another musky fragrance.

One word comes to mind here. BORING. There is a slight hit of citrus combined with a chemical-like base note and thats pretty much it. It doesn't really develope either, even if you wait for it to dry down.
Although its advertised as an everyday fragrance, I would still expect it to have a more interesting and longer-lasting scent than this. And considering the price, I think its very bad value for money.
