Ive been using this foundation for over 2 years now and since that it made my skin really dry .. the foundation is dry itself and doesnt last long on my face even doe when I apply it it doesnt apply all over the face I know weird right but I feel like I apply a powder in liquid ..I did like it at the start but now it really let me down .. wont buy it again.
my skin : sensitive dry
I recently bought this foundation at Debenhams in Belfast. I just love it. The coverage is perfect
Love it very much.
The perfect foundation
Literally the best foundation I've ever come across, on my 3rd bottle. 'Perfect vanilla' is the perfect shade for me.
Expensive but worth it.
white, fluid, not oil, any way, suit me!
This is the best foundation that I've used, it brighten my skin tones, and it can last for a long time, I do love it.
I bought this product as I wanted a foundation that blended with my natural skintone and also wasn't heavy on my skin. This is beautifully light, feels like I have nothing on, my skin is able to breathe and doesn't feel clogged up with make up. However, there are some things I should point out for people considering this. Yes, one pump will be enough for your whole face, however, if you are looking for a foundation that conceals any skin issues such as acne or scarring, stay well away from this. This is solely designed to enhance your skin, so any spots or scars would remain visible as this is not one for concealing. Also, if you have sensitive skin, this is fragranced and likely to break you out in a rash or irritate near your eyes - this happened to my friend. Genuinely this product is fantastic, as long as you have clear skin. Luckily, I do. Another note is that the very pale shades of this are pink based and the darker are yellow-based. so if you are pale and have a more yellow tinge to your skin than pink, don't waste your money here cos you'll just look strange and the same goes for the darker toned ladies with a more pink colouring. My suggestion is to go into the store and ask for a sample. I bought this for nights out but as it has a very light feel and look, it's more of a daytime foundation for me. Personally, this suited me down to the ground but I can see many issues that could occur for others.
unbelievable how good this is
I've used so many foundations over the past couple of years but still keep coming back to this one. It has an absolutely beautiful finish, just like real skin, and you only need the tiniest bit which gives you great coverage - I don't know how that works but it really is like magic when you put it on your skin! Just evens out your skin tone beautifully. My past two foundations have been from Chanel which felt very good quality, but after purchasing this yesterday and using this morning, I can't understand why I ever stopped using this foundation in the first place. Another plus is that it doesn't break me out, I have used foundations from Bobbi Brown, Clinique and MAC, all of which broke me out, but Givenchy seems to work in perfect harmony with my skin. It took me a while to find the best way to apply this, I know it says don't use a brush but I think that is referring to a flat foundation brush - I use a stippling brush (MAC 187) and it's a wonderful combination! The foundation just glides on and you don't have to blend too much as the brush does the work for you. Cannot recommend this foundation enough!
