Rated 4 out of 5Â by Julia Difference between the Noir and Blue
I have bought and used both the noir and the blue, there is a considerable difference between the two. As for the blue, I would agree with the previous reviewer, it lacks vibrancy and staying power. It just doesn't create the dramatic look that khol should, it doesn't last long and after a couple of hours is hardly noticeable.
Now the noir is another story, it is jet black and goes on like a dream, gives a sultry dramatic look to the eye-line and lasts all day. It clearly has much more pigmentation than the blue. I would give the blue 2.5* and the noir 4* would have got 5 if it wasn't so pricey.
Oh and don't forget the added bonus of being lead free!

I have used powered khol for years and usually i buy the Eastern products. I have bought khol from Saudi and Kuwait etc. So i am very familiiar with powered khol and i was really hoping that this would be a superiour quality than the eastern brands. But i can't say that it is. It doesn't go on as vibrant as others i have used, at a quarter of the price and it does not last all day. I got it in blue which was a nice change and it looks nice but it is nothing special. And i will be going back to my usual brand.
Overall a very average product at a high price.
Another thing to bear in mind is that this product is good for 6 months once opened, the lifespan is quite short.

this reminds me of my indian heritage and is a reminisence of the ancient eye makeup from back in the days. The packaging and application technique is a novelty and is non irritating to the eyes with no harmful ingredients. unlinke harsh waxy pencils, this gives a soft smokey-eye, hazey look in both the upper and lower lash line and waterline with just one swipe of the wand - as a makeup artist, this has been in my kit ever since it was launched!
