MAC Mineralize Concealer
This concealer is just 'okay'; it doesn't really conceal dark circles under the eye area, nor does it cover over blemishes that well. Quite disappointed to be honest.
A MUST HAVE FOR EVERY MAKEUP JUNKIE
If you're heavily into make-up or you're just one to like applying makeup on your face, this is a must have for your collection. It gives a subtle glow to the under eye area without appearing overpowering. I love this product and the best part is, it is very light and applies tres easily!!!
I bought this in NC15, which matches my Studio Fix fluid foundation in the same colour perfectly. I only bought it on the off chance, and I'm so glad I did. I use a little dab in the inner corners of my eyes, then use the MAC concealer brush number 195 to blend it in. It's a very lightweight concealer, but covers really well. It brightens the skin under my eyes, but doesn't look as though I'm wearing anything. I then put a teeny tiny amount of Prep & Prime Transparent finishing powder over it to set it, and it lasts me all day. I love all MAC products, and I don't think there's anything I've bought that I haven't liked.
A waste of money
This product is a waste of money, you might as well use a light weight foundation- as I donât understand how Mac can justify calling this a concealer at that price! The colour was fine and it absorbed into my skin well at first, then to my disappointment literally within 15 mins after application it disappeared revealing an oily under eye, like I was sweating. This surprised me as I donât have an oily complexion.
Therefore, I warn otherâs to visit a Mac beauty counter and trying this product before purchasing it. This goes for any other expensive make up products as wellâ¦Let the girls put it on you, walk around doing the rest of your shopping and then if you like it buy it, I wish I did!
On the other hand I do like Macâs Pro Longwear concealer, but again try it before purchasing it- Youâre welcome!
At the M.A.C counter, the make up artist put on a few layer, and i found it looked slightly cakey, but decided to purchase it. After experimenting with it at home, i found that i prefer it with one thin layer. It still covers well, but doesn't look like your wearing anything at all! I have tried the studio finish concealer as well, but i have found that i much prefer this one, and it looks much more natural, and doesn't take as much blending, so doesn't tug on my skin as much too! An all round great products from M.A.C! I have yet to find a product from them that i do not like!
The product does exactly what I was told it would do. It covers dark circles very well. It is the first product I have found that covers them.
This concealer does exactly what I want it to do. It matches perfectly with Mac foundation, blends really well and it's layerable so you can add as much or as little as you like without it looking 'cakey'
