Love this foundation unreal full on coverage!! Hard select shade from website best select in store!
If you want a full coverage foundation that doesn't look of feel cakey then you NEED this foundation!!!
I have sensitive skin and have breakouts often and this foundation is fantastic for covering my blemishes .
Will definitely buy again when I run out!!
Good but not quite what expected
A nice high coverage foundation but I wouldn't recommend for very dry skin
Like many people I have really struggled to find a good foundation. On recommendation I went to the Illamasqua stand and was colour matched (which I highly recommend doing) the shade is perfect and gives full coverage. I'm a dancer and model and this foundation gives a flawless complexion even under unflattering lights. Do make sure you set it with loose powder to prolong the wear time. I use in it in conjunction with Illamasqua's newest product Hydra Veil, I'm really happy with how my skin looks with these products.
Not for dry skin
I have very pale, dry skin. I bought this foundation in both white and the palest shade. The coverage is awesome, it's more like concealer. However, it creases and moves around terribly if it isn't set with powder and my skin is too dry to use powder - i tried a few but it just looked cakey and dehydrated my skin. The brand in general is great and i have since purchased the skin base foundation in white to lighten my Laura Mercier silk creme foundation and that formulation works beautifully for me but steer clear of rich liquid if you are dry/dehydrated/can't wear powder.
Worst foundation I have ever used looks awful doesn't blend well and feels heavy on your skin stay clear of this
Illamasqua Rich Liquid Foundation
Before I can start the review I must admit that I was dim and ordered the wrong shade. I am pale and after looking on their site thought that rf115 would be best, but in my rush ordered rf105, which is literally white. HOWEVER because of this I have found the perfect use for it.
I use it as a "base" layer, its very full coverage and i find I don't need any concealer as all redness is easily covered and it leaves me with a (white) flawless face.
I then use MAC's NC15 Studio Fix Fluid foundation, which is too orange for me. (can you see I can't match my colour!) which blends perfectly with it to create an ideal shade.
As fore mentioned it is definitely a full coverage foundation, but I feel that it does transfer easily if it is not set with a powder. Only other flaw is it can "cling" to dry areas and makes them noticeable. I still think it's a great foundation because I like full coverage and that what it gives, without making me look cakey. Oh...and a little goes a long way.
