I had high hopes for this Aveda shampoo, as I thought being natural it would transform my hair. I do have colour treated hair, but it isn't damaged. Although this shampoo smells lovely, it leaves my hair dull with a heavy feeling, not shiny and bouncy as I would have expected. I won't be repurchasing for this reason and will stick to what I was using previously, which does exactly what it promises. My only reason for trying Aveda, is I like a change every now and again.

I love this product. It leaves hair very smooth and light and the shampoo smells so lovely, like aromatherapy...

This has to be the best Aveda shampoo I have ever used. I have occasional hair highlights and always used Aveda Mint and Rosemary but never really thought it was anything special. After reading reviews for the colour conserve I decided to give it a go and it really made my hair feel and look tip top. I made the mistake of getting a 'professional' hair stylist brand last time and did not compare remotely to the Aveda one and I have returned back to the Aveda colour conserve and will stick with it. I also bought the travel size conditioner as I find I only need a tiny bit for my fine hair. Definitely recommend this shampoo if you have a little or a lot of colouring.

Aveda colour conserve shampoo is fantastic for hair which has been colour treated. The shampoo has a lovely smell to it. It is perfect for retaining your colour in your hair.

Best shampoo ever, i love the smell, my hair is naturally wavy/curly and most all shampoo products i have tried make it feel dry. i also have a sensitive scalp with psoriasis since childhood ...most shampoos have made it worse accept Aveda i love that this product has natural ingredients yet still feels like a luxury shampoo. It does cost alot for a shampoo and is a luxury product, but for me worth the cost at last a shampoo that does not leave my head sensitive, hair dry, even more of a bonus that it smells like you just stepped out of the salon.
i would just like to also say that i tried Aveda curly for my hair type but it was not as nourishing for my hair even though my hair is curly,
