A great basic kit
Purchased this Benefit kit from Debenhams earlier this year and it has received lots of use. Perfect for everyday use and very easy to apply. Would recommend for someone who doesn't want to look "made up".
I really wanted to love it, but couldn't
I think that these are useful for someone who is completely new to make up, so that they might become comfortable applying eyeshadow but I do not like the quality at all. I found the powder eyeshadows to be very chalky and barely pigmented, I was very disappointed. The cream eyeshadows just would not apply smoothly for me at all, regardless of how it was applied. I would recommend saving your money first and spending a little more for better quality. I did like the illustration on the box but the product itself was a bit useless.
Good for everyday wear
The neutral colours are beautiful and the guide included gives you a look you can wear everyday.
The colours in this kit really are the easiest ever! They are very subtle and neutral, so I think they would suit everybody. The handy tips and tricks included make it a great little set for people who are not 100% confident about using eyeshadow. The colours are perfect for school or work. Suitable for everybody!
Really nice make up pallette. Can be used for daytime for more neutral look and night if you want to 'Spice it up' a bit! Highly recommend Benefit make up! And good price!
Lasts all day
I bought this eye shadow palette to use quickly and keep in my bag and I use it every day. You can create a darker golden eye or a lighter, more daytime friendly one and it really does stay but isn't a pain to remove later. I work as a waitress and I'm literally running around for 8-11 hours a day getting hot and flustered and it stays on just fine and I don't even use a primer, just foundation. The only thing is that perhaps it's not very pigmented. Not compared to some other products anyway but it's 'worlds easiest eyeshadows' so I'm guessing thats the point, aimed at people that perhaps aren't so used to applying makeup (like myself until sort of recently).
You can also remove the palette and keep the little box and it has a little how-to leaflet inside.
