Fake Up Concealer
Not for me
Unfortunately this does not work for me. I really like the concept but I think it's to balmy for my skin. It does settle into my fine lines under my eyes and seems to give light coverage which isn't really the purpose of the concealer. I make use for it as it is quite pricey but I personally won't be repurchasing.
Best under-eye concealer I've ever used.
I've tried countless concealers for my dark circles, both high-street and high-end.This is hands down the best I've used and the only one which doesn't settle in to creases after a few hours of wear.
It feels gentle on the skin and leaves a slightly dewy look which is a great anti-aging perk.
I find it easy to blend and the coverage is buildable. It works best, for me,applied in small amounts as it feels quite moist and can slide around a bit if too much is applied at once.
I've spent a lot of time(and money) searching for a tiredness eraser post-baby and am happy to report my search is over. Hm, now for the perfect red lip-stick :)
Good Value for money
This concealer is good value for money. I've tried so many concealers in vain before. This one definitely looks natural, does not feel heavy on the skin, and actually covers blemishes and dark circles! And I have massive dark circles.
Pros: It blends easily, so you can build up the coverage you want. It is a bit pricey as compared to drugstore makeup, especially if you are a student, but it does last ages. I would recommend applying it with a brush and not directly from the bullet. The hydrating ring is a good idea! It does not dry up on your face and actually moisturises your skin. And, it's small, so you can carry it around in your handbag.
Cons: as any moisturizing product, it can look a bit greasy, and actually sit in the lines under your eyes sometimes. I found this was solved by setting it with some loose powder in a buffing motion. And if you have time, apply a good primer and let it set before putting on the concealer.
To be fair, I don't go out with it. So if this is your first time trying a concealer; This one is good. Hope this helped :)!
I bought this as the assistant used it on me as part of a makeover in store. I had not previously used the product but was very impressed with the coverage and how well it covered up flaws, especially the under eye area. Would definitely recommend this product.
Best product for dark circles
I am very pale and have always suffered from dark circles under my eyes, but have struggled to find a product that effectively resolves the problem - usually they are either too dark, or do not blend easily and make my eyes look even worse. Fake up however gives amazing results - the light colour is a great match for pale skintones, it is easy to apply and blends easily to cover dark circles effectively without creasing.
Fantastic product. will buy again and again. easy to apply no mess and great coverage
this concealer is perfect for covering up dark circles and doesn't crease at all!
Gives amazing results!
A Benefit assistant put this on my skin in store: she took my make-up off and applied the 'Triple Performing Moisturiser' which I recently bought and absolutely love! Then she covered the slight dark circles I have around my eyes, followed by- literally- only a few strokes on each area of my face and then patted in with her finger and buffed with a brush. The results were amazing! I had been very skeptical when she said the product could be used all over the face, because I have very fair skin and even the lightest concealers are always too dark and too yellow, but the light shade is absolutely perfect! It covers imperfections and gives a bright, radiant, dewy (but not unnatural) look that no foundation or BB cream has ever been able to do before. She set it with a tiny bit of their pressed powder and it feels smooth and silky. It's a hydrating moisturiser, so it's not remotely cakey, but it's not oily either: a perfect product!
