Cat and Mouse Game 5 5 1 1
Great Game For Young Children The game is quite sturdy and even when assembled with the ladders attached can be returned to the box which is a great time saver. The cat piece is sturdy, well designed and the small mice are sturdy and have weighted bases, similar to the pieces for subbuteo, preventing them from falling over which is great for a game for young children. The game play is straightforward and understandable and well suited for 4+ year olds. The game also has the potential for the rules to be changed by an adult, if you so wish, to suit children that might not fully comprehend the actual written instructions provided by the game manufacturers. Just use your imagination! My niece who is younger than 4+ loved the pieces in the game and we played the game simply by moving the pieces around the board, up the ladders and down the slides (something which she is very used to in the local playgrounds) with the cat waiting on a different square each round to catch the mice. Overall a great game for young children. 28/05/2014
