After looking far and wide and exhausting all choices, literally! This is a superb duvet, feels very like a feather duvet with the benefit of no feathers!! Very comfortable, we are so pleased. Thank you Debenhams for a fabulous product and we highly recommend it.
Feels like down duvet
I bought the 'feels like down' summer duvet several years ago and loved it. We had a winter duvet which was real goose down and due to a recent disability I found the real goose down duvet very heavy and uncomfortable. I purchased the 10.5 tog 'feels like down' duvet recently and absolutely love it. It is warm, light and distributes much better than a real down duvet and it's texture is very realistic. I definitely recommend this product, especially if you are an allergy sufferer or like me you don't like the weight of the real down.
Great quality product very pleased with this purchase. Highly recommended.
Having, over the years, bought many duvets, this is absolutely the most comfortable and warm that I've used: soft, very warm, very light. Lovely !!
Feels like feather and down
This is a great duvet. I felt loads in the store but this was totally realistic - can't tell the difference between feather and down and this. Great if you have allergic visitors but doesn't feel different for the rest of us. Bought on line and arrived promptly.
Going for a third !
As per the description, it feels like goose down, which is the highest grade filling you can buy. The "rustling" sound is an integral part of the luxurious ness of this product and is because the filling is covered in cotton and not that nasty polyester. All in all, this quilt has been my favourite absolute favourite of all the duvets I have purchased over the years, and I must have purchased at least 10.
It is warm without being too hot, it is light without being too flimsy and in my opinion, is the only one to go for especially if you dislike polyester. I am hoping they will be in stock today, as am going to buy my third for guest room.
Lovely, cruelty-free duvet!
Microfibre is the way to go in duvets. My main reason for buying it was that I wanted a high quality duvet that didn't support the cruelty involved in producing feather duvets. This 'feels like down' duvet feels luxurious, warm and comfortable. It drapes round the body nicely, and is very good value. I'd definitely recommend it, and urge other people to go for the high quality, cruelty-free option!
like a hospital cover!
We purchased this duvet but took it straight back. It felt like a hospital cover... the type you use for 'accidents'! The noise was awful and certainally would not have given us a peaceful night. It sounded like my baby's toy all crackly. I had purchased this same duvet yrs ago and was not like this. Not cheap either. I don't think it would improve with time either.
