Rated 5 out of 5Â by Kat37 Perfect for hallway storage
We have been looking for some storage for our hallway and nothing seemed right until I saw this. It is absolutely perfect in size and style. The cupboard holds just the right amount of bags and shoes and hides the electrical eyesores perfectly. The white gloss makes the hallway look bright and welcoming.
The unit is very well packaged. If it looks like it is scratched when you first take it out of the box, don't panic - it's a plastic film that is protecting the gloss. This is brilliant but it takes longer to peel the film off than putting the unit together.
I wouldn't pay full price for this unit, but it is worth the value with the 60% off and I would recommend this unit to anybody.
Rated 1 out of 5 by HBolton Looks ok from a distance⦠but the quality is shocking!
We initially spotted this cabinet after searching for a unit that would fit in a relatively tight alcove next to the chimney breast in our living room. The original price seemed expensive for flat-pack furniture but as we had struggled to find a unit of this size elsewhere, we decided to order it a couple of days later and were delighted to find the price had been reduced by 60%.
I'm so glad we didn't buy this item at it's full price, as when we put the cabinet together the overall quality was shocking. The unit is quite flimsy and, worst of all, the so called 'gloss finish' appears to be peeling off in a number of places leaving scratch-like marks. I would definitely be returning the unit if we had paid the full price but as we've struggled for 6 months to find a cabinet that fits this space we are hesitant to start the search again. Luckily, the alcove is relatively dark so the faults cannot be seen from across the room but I will always know they are there.
