Cream 'Lola' bonded leather sofa bed
very good value for money
We were a bit dubious buying a sofa bed on line but
This sofa bed is very good quality
the bed is very easy to pull out and to put away
the mattress is very comfortable and not lumpy like some sofa beds
the sofa is also comfortable to sit on
overall I would recommend this sofa bed as an all round good buy
Mattress gets wet
The underneath of the mattress is wet and starting to show signs of mould after only 1 month of use. The top of the mattress is dry but the underneath and the surface it sits on collects water, possibly through condensation. It's not just damp, there are little puddles of water. I typed in 'Wet Sofa Bed Mattress' into Google and on the first page is this review "I bought 2 of these last year in the sale and have been very pleased with them, one for the living room as a sofa and extra sleeping space if needed and one for the spare room. Only recently (1 month ago) I used the spare room one as a bed when my nephew had a sleepover. He came for another sleepover a few days ago and when I opened up the sofa to make the bed there were black patches all over the underside of the mattress. At first I thought there must be dampness in the room, I swapped over the mattress from the one in the living room so that he wasn't at risk from mould spores. Last night a guest used the spare room sofa bed and when I went to strip the bed and 'collapse' the sofa I discovered that the underside of the mattress was wet! The top of the mattress was bone dry but the underside was dripping with moisture. Not happy. Inferior filling and covering attract condensation." I'm not allowed to add the link (my initial review was rejected by Debenhams - this is my 2nd attempt) but the review is on Debenhams Ireland website and it's in regards to the exact same problem with the exact same sofa bed (Lola)! In addition to the wet mattress problem: *One of the legs arrived damaged and had to be replaced *The closing mechanism is temperamental and doesn't close cleanly on the left hand side and needs a lot of cajoling to close properly *The mattress is thin and not comfortable to sleep on *There was a black mark on the cushion when it arrived I've had it a month I've made a complaint and I'm in the process of getting it collected and refunded.
quality leather sofa bed
bought this leather sofa bed from Debenhams, and very pleased with it.
quick delivery, well packed, and could not find a better sofa bed for the price, when my son seen it he ordered one as well.
looks good (only looks good)
Has I said looks good until you sit on it far too narrow feel like your going to fall off still waiting for chair, will never buy again without seeing it first, love to send back but already received the bill sooooo disapointed
Love the model and size but quality of actual structure is soooo poor that arm rests got disfigured after 7 days of use . Putting your elbow down on the arm rest makes a hole in the arm rest . If it wasn't for the fact that we needed sofa urgently I would return it gladly . Sleeping on it is satisfying if you are less then 80kg in weight . Cream sofa pillow on the right side got scratch marks after opening and closing sofa for the first 6 times . Scratch is made by one of the black metal legs . All in all , highly disappointed .
