Brown bonded leather 'Ontario' pair of chairs
We have had these chairs for just about a year. They are not in a room that is used constantly and my husband and I are not heavily built. The legs which required screwing on at purchase are now all wobbly and the wooden brackets are breaking. These chairs come in pairs and all four are broken so it can't just be a dodgy pair.
Such a shame as the leather is lovely and smooth and the chairs are comfy but not fit for purpose. I would expect dining chairs to last a good few years so I am about to send photos to customer service and complain!
Bang there goes another spring!
These chairs are great if your just going to look at them and not consider sitting on them, they are not in the high comfort bracket and the springs give way at a moments notice, very poorly made.
Chairs used once a week, replaced seat due to failure in March 14 and now need to replace more due to spring failure!!!!
Very comfortable. Easy to assemble
These chairs were bought for our tenants who are very pleased with them
Waste of Money
Look ok and were comfortable for a few weeks, but after that you can feel the springs through the padding. All 6 I own are now uncomfortable to sit on, and I'm very disappointed that I wasted money on them (even when heavily reduced from the claimed RRP as they always are). A very poor product - I really regret not returning them as soon as they started to deteriorate.
This product is so poor
I bought this 2 years ago. It looked so nice when i bought it but after 6 months of using it, i noticed that the padded cushion has sunk and the spring inside the cushion could be felt when sitting on it. It is so uncomfortable to use. Since i haven't got a budget to buy a new one, ( i bought 6) i decided to buy a cushion and put it on top of it. It was a waste of money considering the fact that it was too expensive.
Excellent product and service
The chairs are good quality, look attractive and match the oak Ontario table perfectly.
Nice looking, but that's all.
Bought 4 of these to go with the dining table. I'm normally pretty handy with flat packed furniture etc. but found the chairs very difficult to assemble. Once together, I thought they looked quite good.
Not too long later and a leg on one of the chairs started to wobble. No biggie, I tightened it up and it was ok for a few weeks. Skip forward a year and I now have 2 chairs that are completely unusable due to the legs being highly unstable.
Would not recommend.
Had purchased dining table and 4 chairs from a local shop that is now closed and was looking for 2 chairs that would match them- so decided to go with a different style that would compliment my existing set. So glad that I did....certainly value for money, my husband fitted them together and he is not really a DIY person so would recommend them even to those who are DIY challanged.
