Nicky Clarke 'Vitesse' hair dryer NHD093
This is the most powerful hairdryer i have owned, and i love it. It's perfect for people with long thick hair.
I can't find any faults, so far so good.
Although a little heavy, it dries my hair twice as quick as previous Nicky Clarke model and a pleasure to look at and hold in your hand. Highly recommend.
I've had this hairdryer for just over a month =, I have below shoulder length, thick hair and this product drys my hair in around 5 mins. The ioinic feature is really good, I wasn't sure it would make a difference but it rough drys my hair a lot straighter than my old (non ionic) hairdryer, I still need to use straighteners but my hair is a lot easier to straighten now. The heat and speed settings buttons slide so there is no chance of changing the settings by accident. The dryer is not too heavy. My only criticism is the length of the power cable, it is very short, definitely not salon length.
Short operational life
We have had this Hair Dryer for just over a year and it is used every day but that is probably what should be expected. When last used we were conscious of a burning smell which, we discovered from the sparking inside, was a failure of an electrical component. The Dryer is still operating but only on high speed. Not the sort of reliability that we expected for one of the supposed market leaders. Incidentally, the Clairol 1200, which we have had for at least ten years and decided to replace with the Vitesse, is still working.
One Happy Wife
To me a hair dryer is just a hair dryer. Not so my wife insisted. Having very thick and long hair she was exceptionally frustrated at how long it took to dry with a standard dryer and put this on her Christmas list. Not listening well enough I originally bought another dryer thinking it would do... Luckily my sister in law intervened. After a while of shopping around I managed to find the very model she wanted and for an amazing price. You delivered at a fantastic speed well in time for Christmas making one very happy household. the product is amazing, small, light and very very powerful. Thank you Debenhams
100% been opened and used before. And going by the condition of the box, I'd date this item as being manufactured circa 1930. I love the idea of buying nice things that have already been used by someone else.
After a long search very happy with my choice.
I spent a good month or so comparing hairdryers on various websites determined to get a good one this time, after years of my hair taking ages to dry. I came across the Nicky Clark one, the reviews seemed good, but the product is still alot better then I was expecting. I have long thick hair that use to take over 40min to dry, with this dryer it takes less then 10! That's with styling, rough drying it would be done in a matter of minutes. Alot of power, the different settings are good and have a deffinate difference between them. The cool shot is actually cold rather then the usual warm you get with other dryers. Size and weight are also good. Cord length is fine for me. Very happy. I would have paid alot more then I did for it!
In terms of how fast this dries your hair, it's fantastic, literally 5 mins and my hair is dry (I have mid length, thick hair), my only bugbear is the length of the cord, its not salon length and can make it difficult to use unless your plus is right next to your dressing table
