Silver polished traditional kettle
Nice looking -Funny taste
Bought this kettle because we liked the style and look and because we have a Dualit toaster that we are very pleased with. After washing out as instructed, made a cup of tea and noticed a strange taste. Washed it out several times more but still the strange taste was there. Contacted Dualit but got no help there,in fact they did not seem interested at all. So I took it back to Debenhams and got my money back. Would not recommend this kettle.
I hadn't intend to buy this style of kettle, however the offer available through Debenhams was too good to miss. I'm glad I did as i have not been disappointed so far. It boils fast and looks as lovely in the kitchen as you would hope! I would advise buying in store though as our courier thought it ok to throw this over a 6ft fence landing on concrete (along with the iron I had ordered). Clearly it is sturdy to as it works fine.
good styling, not too noisy
Good styling, lighter weight (which is good) than my previous kettle, and, although I wouldn't describe it as 'quiet', it is less noisy than some. A minor design fault: the water gauge isn't very clear - it's always covered in condensation. It's probably slightly overpriced because its Dualit, but overall I'm happy with it so far.
It's a kettle
It boils water - looks reasonably pretty - nuff said.
You pay for the brand
Seems to boil quickly and it looks good with the toaster but the reality is you are paying for the brand (which most people won't notice!!)
It looks Hot
This Dualit Kettle certainly lives up to the reputation of top quality product. It looks great, it is so quiet and I love it.
