Purchased over 4 weeks ago and it was just what I required. Not too big, brushed stainless steel to go with other kitchen ware in my home. Nice large soft opening lid and rubberised handle, giving steady control when pouring.
Unfortunatley for me my kettle would not stop jingling due to the bell inside that rings when it has boiled. It was jingling every time I touched it and after three weeks it was irritating me so much that I returned the kettle for a replacement of the same as I put it down to a faulty bell.
To cut a long story short I have had to purchase the same kettle from another store due to stock not being available. This kettle up to press is not jingling and I am now satisfied.
Makes average kettle noise when boiling some people require ultra quite but to me its a kettle - they make noise.
Nice size and large window for viewing water level which is centrally located and can be seen easily when filling from the tap, pours water out smooth.
A little on the expensive side for a kettle but after looking at others they all have their plus and minus points.

Great kettle which is well made, well designed and looks good.
I like the ping when it is boiled and the soft top lid.

Bought Sage kettle in the sale, original cost is very pricey.Looks good and love the rubber grip handle and great pouring spout. The pale green colour of the transparent lid and water guage look stylish with the brushed steel. The on/off switch has a ping sound when switches off and its really quick to boil.Overall I am very pleased with my buy.

It's clean, quick and looks great. It even pings so you know it's boiled if your not in the kitchen.

It was only after reading reviews of many other kettles, that I decided to splash out and buy such an expensive one. It is certainly a nice looking kettle, well balanced and easy to pour, with a comfortable handle, and the filling gauge is relatively easy to see since the light comes in through the gauge on the other side and the glass panel in the lid. Not sure if the "soft opening" lid is really worth the hype, after all who opens the lid immediately after boiling the kettle? However it gives a luxury touch. And the soft "ping" when it switches off when boiling is nice, but not easily heard above the noise of boiling. I felt it was average for weight and noise. Whether it is worth the money really depends on how much one is prepared to pay for a kettle. And how long it lasts - time will tell.
Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Legislation
From 1st July 2007, all retailers of electrical goods must comply with the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) legislation.
This is a scheme to prevent all such waste being disposed of in general landfill sites and to promote recycling of components and materials. The legislation aims to minimise the impact of electrical and electronic equipment on the environment by creating products with recycling in mind and encouraging reuse, recycling, and recovery of WEEE.
How do I know what product is "WEEE"? The definition of a WEEE product is one whose primary function is dependent on electrical currents to carry out the main function, e.g. a toaster. However, some product, such as a child’s soft toy with an electric circuit, is not classed as WEEE as its primary function is a toy. For further details on product definitions, please click here.
You may also take the item(s) to your local authority Civic Amenity Site if this is more convenient.
