Cream four slice toaster
lovery looking toaster
had this toaster a few weeks and overall very pleased with style as had my last one over 20yrs - thought it was time for a change...have to turn dial up high to get even toast otherwise fine...
It works ... Does what it says on the tin! Very happy thank you
Looks great, multiple toasting facility.
Good looking toaster, to fit into new kitchen. Nice size and shape. Opted for the cream, which is fine.
Won't take longer slices of bread (toasting variety!), just average ones (as it is squarer in shape - but takes four at once as opposed to two long ones, what you gain one way, you loose another).
Still have to turn the bread around to get an even toast on both sides, as have found with all toasters, one side always toasts more than the other.
Had complaints from the men in the house in this regard, but as it looks good, it's staying....
Great retro toaster
Looks good and does the job very well. Plenty wide enough for crumpets and very easy to use controls. Great buy.
Bought this toaster in the sale and got it at a very good price. The toast is lovely and golden and crispy although still getting used to the different settings. Looks lovely in my new kitchen.
Lovely looking toaster. produces lovely toast but is overpriced
I bought this toaster and the matching kettle to make the finishing touches to my newly refreshed kitchen. I've got an oak wooden work surface and light green cupboards - it gives a soft edge to the 'white goods'. They look a lot better than the sillver and black alternatives I had before.
Aside from looks, the toaster was a bit stiff initially and it feels slightly cheap. I would have preferred the silver part to be stain-resistant as a chrome steel finished gets easily marked. Other than that, as funtionality for a toaster is pretty basic, you can change the dial to alternate browness depending on preference, the defrost setting works well and bread that has been in it tastes like toast!
Whilst the toaster is very good value it is disappointing to see that the cream is not the same as the kettle, which is very surprising as the two items are offered as a package.
Why is there this difference, which is quite evident when they are stood side by side?
