Kenwood Prospero 'KM283' kitchen machine
Great mixer with food processor and liquidiser attachements
This replaced a cheap heavy mixer I'd had for a couple of years. The things that really frustrated me with my old mixer were the sheer weight and size of the device and the fact that it didn't catch anything on the side or bottom of the bowl. This Kenwood has a mixing attachment that fits at an angle, so it very cleverly catches what is on the side and the bottom of the bowl. Something I never thought I'd achieve with a mixer. It is also lightweight. I can easily lift it/move it around (but not light enough to shift itself around on the worktop while mixing). I used the mixer and the food processor today to make cheesecake and both tools worked very well. Very happy with this item.
I bought this in the sale but even at full price I still believe this would be a great buy.
I got this to replace my 30+yr old kenwood chef. It copes with everything I throw at it! From bread to meringues, from professional royal icing to whipping cream! The attachments that come with it are fab! I had a separate food processor before & never used it, this one gets used all the time! It's a brilliant cheaper option then the chef.
Although this item was purchased as a gift for my daughter, I went for it because I had purchased one for myself the previous month as a replacement for my 40 year old Kenwood Chef. Although it is not as substantial as the Chef, it still has the solid feel and good quality that you would expect from a Kenwood. Good attachments/accessories and does the job very well. All round good value for money and still light enough to be able to pick up and put away easily leaving work surfaces clear.
kenwood food mixer
best purchase and with all the atachments its great
Good starter purchase
A solid machine that does what it says on the box at a very good price. The only downside is having to yank the beaters/whisks out of the slot and can be messy if there is product on the blades.
