This ice cream attachment is fabulous. It makes the most wonderful ice cream and is really, really easy to use. Hubby bought this for me so I made my first batch of ice cream on Boxing Day. However, I wish Kenwood had supplied more recipes with the ice cream attachment - something they might want to consider for the future, but I have found some on the internet. For anyone thinking of buying this keep in mind that there are two bowls (one inside the other) and one of them needs to be placed in the freezer for 24 hrs prior to making ice cream. Could be a problem if your freezer is small. Overall opinion - fantastic.

I am so glad I talked myself into buying this ice cream attachment. Have made several batches since purchasing and am delighted with the results. It's very easy to use and the results are delicious. Being rather fussy about ice cream, the flavour and use of good ingredients is important to me, so the machine will be used often. Would highly recommend
Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Legislation
From 1st July 2007, all retailers of electrical goods must comply with the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) legislation.
This is a scheme to prevent all such waste being disposed of in general landfill sites and to promote recycling of components and materials. The legislation aims to minimise the impact of electrical and electronic equipment on the environment by creating products with recycling in mind and encouraging reuse, recycling, and recovery of WEEE.
How do I know what product is "WEEE"? The definition of a WEEE product is one whose primary function is dependent on electrical currents to carry out the main function, e.g. a toaster. However, some product, such as a child’s soft toy with an electric circuit, is not classed as WEEE as its primary function is a toy. For further details on product definitions, please click here.
You may also take the item(s) to your local authority Civic Amenity Site if this is more convenient.
