Used to have a Tassimo but decided to buy a new machine, very very happy with Nespresso. It makes great tasting coffee that's full of flavour. Machine is smaller too and sits well on a worktop

The machine is easy to use and the milk heater / froth brilliant. Podsare around 30p per cup but well worth it. Purchased this on impulse but have not regretted it.
Rated 4 out of 5Â by Xena Solid and well made
I recently bought this machine when it was on offer and was very satisfied with the price. It is well made and a simple attractive design. The only thing that lets it down is not the machine but the instructions. They are virtually incomprehensible with baffling diagrams and no writing underneath to explain what everything means. My husband who is pretty good at understanding diagrams also found them confusing. I ruined three of the capsules included in the pack trying to work out what to do. I am still not totally confident using it and hope the manufacturers take note and redesign their instruction leaflet.
Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Legislation
From 1st July 2007, all retailers of electrical goods must comply with the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) legislation.
This is a scheme to prevent all such waste being disposed of in general landfill sites and to promote recycling of components and materials. The legislation aims to minimise the impact of electrical and electronic equipment on the environment by creating products with recycling in mind and encouraging reuse, recycling, and recovery of WEEE.
How do I know what product is "WEEE"? The definition of a WEEE product is one whose primary function is dependent on electrical currents to carry out the main function, e.g. a toaster. However, some product, such as a child’s soft toy with an electric circuit, is not classed as WEEE as its primary function is a toy. For further details on product definitions, please click here.
You may also take the item(s) to your local authority Civic Amenity Site if this is more convenient.
