Great service from Debenhams. I was kept up to date with what was happening with the double mattress that i bought online. First class, thankyou.

One small gripe with fitting this blanket. Instructions for fitting were very clear however initially I found it difficult the thread the cord through the small loops to hold the cord under the mattress to keep the blanket in place. This was overcome by feeding tweezers through the loops to pull the cord through. Sounds a minor thing but for an older man with big fingers it was initially frustrating. Once fitted, it was simple to switch on at maximum power for about half an hour before going to bed. Made the bed very cosy. Left it ont at lowest power setting and enjoyed comfortable warm bed through the night. With the tie downs, there has been no movement of the blanket for the whole week that we have used it. A very good buy.

I bought this for my mum who has always relied on hot water bottles. She is super pleased and can't think why she didn't get one years ago. This is a pretty good quality one compared to my old one. Just a shame the control connector isn't a bit lower down rather than part of the blanket, but not too much of a problem.
Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Legislation
From 1st July 2007, all retailers of electrical goods must comply with the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) legislation.
This is a scheme to prevent all such waste being disposed of in general landfill sites and to promote recycling of components and materials. The legislation aims to minimise the impact of electrical and electronic equipment on the environment by creating products with recycling in mind and encouraging reuse, recycling, and recovery of WEEE.
How do I know what product is "WEEE"? The definition of a WEEE product is one whose primary function is dependent on electrical currents to carry out the main function, e.g. a toaster. However, some product, such as a child’s soft toy with an electric circuit, is not classed as WEEE as its primary function is a toy. For further details on product definitions, please click here.
