Kitchen Complete digital kitchen timer
Useless & overpriced
I did not believe the Review Comments when I bought this timer. I wish I had and I hope any other potential buyer thinks before buying !!!
The instructions are completely useless and wrong.
When you have spent half an hour sorting it out, you realise various other problems - for example it does not display a countdown in seconds, only minutes (and that assumes you have got it to work in the first place)
Forget all the so called good features (Magnetic clip, Stand, Reverting to a normal clock etc) you just want a simple coutdown timer.
Have now bought one in a good kitchen shop - brilliant, does exaclty what it says on the buttons !! AND it has a stand and magnet catch.
Nice looking timer but instructions difficult to understand thus making it difficult to use!
NOT one of my better buys. Hoped to buy 2 but noway
Waste of Money
Only buy this timer if you have a degree in Rocket Science. 0/10 for the person who wrote the "instructions". I could not make head or tail of them. I am taking this back and buying a manual timer that goes PING.
I have been looking for a good timer for a long time and have even returned a few after buying them. The mechanical ones didn't always come with an alarm or turned out to be unreliable. So though this timer is a bit pricey for a timer I went for it.
It can be stuck to a fridge, can be clipped (I have clipped mine to the fridge door since it is enclosed in a wooden cabinet), or even placed on a stand. The alarm is loud. It is even a clock when you are not using the timer.
The only downside is with the instruction leaflet because some of the instructions are wrong and it took me some trial and error to figure out how the alarm works.
Simple but good
Ok, it's only a timer, but this is a good one. I like a few good features. Firstly, it has a clever stand / belt clip / magnetic back, so you can clip it to yourself, rest it on a table or stick it on the fridge. Secondly on countdown it beeps once when there is 10 mins to go, twice when there are five minutes and then for a minute when it reaches zero. Seems fairly robust too, mines been in a full kitchen sink on more than one occasion, and I've dropped it countless times.
Simple but good, just like me!
