Rated 4 out of 5Â by Tea drinker A lovely design
This is a well designed teapot and a pleasure to use. It was smaller than I hoped which is the only reason for four stars. Delivered quickly and was well wrapped.

This tea pot was a wedding present in 2004 and has been used daily since then. I have replaced the lid as I dropped it on a stone floor. I own an aga and this pot stands on the aga daily, it is robust and pours well. I have the full dinner service in white and find it robust, I cannot complain it has served me well over the last 11 years and think it will go on and on! Thank you Denby!
Rated 3 out of 5Â by Tea Cosy Solid body but lid delicate
Have come across so many people commenting on the lid for this teapot breaking and not being able to replace it because Denby don't do separate lids for it. It's a shame about this because the teapot is solid (apart from the issue with pouring small amounts another reviewer mentioned). So now I have a teapot with no lid and would need to buy a whole new teapot just for the lid.
Rated 2 out of 5Â by MoMa Does not pour well
I bought this in London as a gift for my daughter in the USA. It does not pour the tea well - the spout plugs up when using tea bags, and when the pot if half full there is no flow through the spout; it just slurps out. A complete waste of money. I should have stuck with the old fashioned "tea lady" design. Very disappointing, and I would have returned it but it's now in the US!
Rated 2 out of 5Â by MoMa Badly design for pouring
Nice looking, but does not pour well. If there are tea bags in the pot, once it gets.halfway down the base of the spout in the pot clogs up, and the tea dribbles out. You cannot make half a pot of tea with this and expect a nice flow from the spout.
