Lite 4-Wheel Large Suitcase in Graphite
The case although appears strong, having bought 4 the first 2 came away by the zip, of the other two the case cracked and opened on the top on the curve. Am waiting to see what happens to the 4th.
I have had this case for about 4 years. I dont travel often but when we have used it it has been easy to manovere and performed well. It has a generous capacity and a zip mesh divider which made it easy to pack. On our first trip with it it did take a hammering and got fairly scratched, but that was cosmetic rather than a failure. So although I was dissapointed with the scratching, the case stood up to the job which is more important. I have a bronze one which you cant buy any more. The present day design however is the same. the large is a bit taller than the newer large cases in trips other ranges of light cases.
4 years in counting
I have the older model with 2 wheels and have used it on countless trips. It has taken a lot of abuse but never got dented. It just keeps going. I bought one for my girlfriend as well, the 4 wheel version. Can't recommend it enough.
This was the 2nd case I had. The first was returned after just a few uses because the gusset covering the zip came away from the rivets. The replacement had a gusset which was stitched - much better. Unfortunately, the 2nd case hasn't done much better. After around 18 months use, the top handle has broken. I won't be buying another.
this is the second Graphite Tipp case we have bought as the first one is just ideal and light to take away.
