I've had Trip luggage before and it lasted me for several years with no issues. This bag had a small hole in it the first time I used it on the train, I didn't have chance to return it as I was going away to America and it did survive it has several rips/holes in it and I had to do emergency sewing repair so I could get my stuff back home. The material seems thinner than the last bag I had from Tripp

The first time we used it the handle fell off. It was replaced and the new one failed when the frame bent and the handle would not extend.
Rubbish!, not fit for purpose!
Rated 3 out of 5Â by streetstopper Generally fine but significant stability issues
Bought as a replacement to a previous Tripp bag where the wheel failed just outside the warranty period. I've had this bag for about 8 months, and got quite a bit of use out of it Generally, material, stitching etc good quality. However, two problems:
1) The wheels are unnecessarily close together. Not a problem on smooth airport concourses, but in the real world of lumpy pavements, this is often enough to set it rocking from wheel to wheel. Sometimes this results in the bag falling over. Sometimes, if you stop, the rocking stops and it goes back to both wheels. But it can be difficult to stop dead when either on a busy pavement, or crossing a road...
2) The bag is longer and thinner than the bag it replaced, though around the same volume. The problem this causes it is noticeably harder to carry up stairs. You really have to lift the bag (rather than carry with a vertical arm - much easier), either with the end or main handles, to ensure it clears the steps.
Overall recommended but depends on your use and strength.
