Beautiful light! We found this light fitting online and researched the best price for it, Debenhams was the cheapest by far. On arrival one of the light shades was broken which no-one could help and when i called the customer service team they were so helpful and obliging and they sent me a replacement 2 days later almost wrapped in cotton wool! Extremely satisified and will purchase from Debenhams again.

I bought two of these lamps and although they look good once they have been put up. However the process of installing was made more complicated than it should be for this price. The wires in the lamp are not connected to a multiblock but are all loose and a very samll connector block is included which has very small holes and makes it a very difficult job to get the wires all in. I eventually used the much bigger block from my old lights which was much easier. The other issue is the bar which secures the light to the ceiling which would be much better if it had four connecting points instead of two, as once the light is screwed up it is still not flush to the ceiling.
Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Legislation
From 1st July 2007, all retailers of electrical goods must comply with the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) legislation.
This is a scheme to prevent all such waste being disposed of in general landfill sites and to promote recycling of components and materials. The legislation aims to minimise the impact of electrical and electronic equipment on the environment by creating products with recycling in mind and encouraging reuse, recycling, and recovery of WEEE.
How do I know what product is "WEEE"? The definition of a WEEE product is one whose primary function is dependent on electrical currents to carry out the main function, e.g. a toaster. However, some product, such as a child’s soft toy with an electric circuit, is not classed as WEEE as its primary function is a toy. For further details on product definitions, please click here.
You may also take the item(s) to your local authority Civic Amenity Site if this is more convenient.
