Due to it's higher weight, this blanket is not recommended for use by persons under the age of 18 years. Weighted blankets have been used to reduce or manage the symptoms of sleep disorders and mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, and general stress, as well as PTSD, restless leg syndrome, arthritis and fibromyalgia.
