This book is a collection of short stories, mostly in rhyme. The stories are all stand alone, so they dont necessarily have to be read in order. Their target is the 48 years old group. The kids that are either just about to start reading, or the beginner readers. Most of the stories are meant to teach a subtle lesson, from dont be a bully to good sportsmanship to sometimes the right decision is a hard thing to teaching that kids in wheelchair are just like everyone else. There is a story with purposely misspelled words, to encourage kids to pick out the wrong words, and a story about how fun a dog can be. All the stories are positive and have a complete ending. The artwork is very simple to engage the childs imagination. The goal is to get the young readers hooked on reading.
