Arcadia ShadeDweller Arboreal 8w UV lamp is the replacement bulb for the Arcadia ProT5 ShadeDweller Pro-Arboreal kit. ShadeDwellerPro-Arboreal is perfect for shade dwelling species such as Crested Geckos and those species that fall into Ferguson zones 1-2, depending on the distance to basking , climbing ability and require a smaller area of UV energy. For these species when living in larger enclosures and where planting/decoration does not allow open basking very close to the lamp the ShadeDwellerPro 7% lamp would be the correct option at 10-12” in free air or 6-8” when used over a mesh. Please keep in mind also that black mesh reduces light flow more than stainless. It is always best to check actual energy with a Solarmeter 6.5 index meter. As with all UV, it is recommend to replace the bulb yearly for optimum performance. Key Features: 8w 7% T5 UVB Tube.
