Always burn tealight candles on a heat-resistant, stable surface and keep them away from flammable materials, drafts, and direct airflow. Never leave a burning candle unattended or within reach of children and pets. Use appropriate candle holders that fit tealights securely, and ensure at least 10 cm (4 inches) of space between burning candles. Avoid moving candles while lit or when the wax is still hot. Burn in a well-ventilated area and never in confined spaces. Extinguish the flame carefully using a snuffer or by gently blowing it out to prevent wax splatter. Do not burn the candle completely down—leave at least 1 cm (½ inch) of wax to prevent overheating or damage to the surface below.
