Dimensions: W 140cm D 140cm H 75cm Suggested mud weights as per number of nests: 1 nest – suggest 2 mud weights 2 nest – suggest 2 mud weights 3 nest – suggest 3 mud weights 6 nest – suggest 3 mud weights 8 nest – suggest 3 mud weights 12 nest – suggest 6 mud weights Our Somerton floating duck house is suitable for wild ducks and the ducks will use the house for nesting and as a safe night roost.  We recommend that you should clean out the house once a year in the early autumn, after the ducks have finished nesting.  The roof along with the internal wall dividers are removable to aid cleaning. Please Note: The timbers used are pressure treated prior to building so well protected against rot. However, we strongly recommend that your housing is treated at least once yearly with our water repellent, animal safe, timber treating overcoat. This forms an invisible, water repellent layer over the house, so lessening the moisture uptake that in time could promote timber decay.
