IDEAL FOR COOKING - Spearmint makes a lovely accompaniment to lamb, potato or pea dishes. This well known perennial herb’s bright leaves are ideal for using in cooking or for drinks either fresh or dried. PLANTING POSITION - This plant likes partial shade but will tolerate a full sunny position. It does prefer moist, well-draining, alkaline soil which is rich in nutrients. HEIGHT AND SPREAD - This plant will grow to a height of 0.5-1 metres with a spread of the same size. WHAT YOU WILL RECEIVE - This plant will arrive in a 13cm growing pot.

Mint plants are hardy and easy to care for, thriving in a sunny or partially shaded spot with well-drained, moist soil. Keep the soil consistently damp but not waterlogged, watering regularly, especially during dry spells. Mint grows vigorously, so it’s best to plant it in a container to prevent it from spreading uncontrollably. Regularly trim the plant to encourage bushy growth and prevent it from becoming leggy. Remove any flower buds to maintain the plant’s flavour and vitality. With proper care, mint will thrive and provide a fresh, aromatic harvest throughout the growing season.
