Wash the 30cm pre-seasoned cast iron skillet before first use with warm water and mild washing-up liquid, then dry thoroughly. Apply a thin layer of cooking oil after cleaning to maintain the natural seasoning and help prevent rust. Always use oven gloves when handling the pan, as the cast iron body and handles become extremely hot during cooking. Heat gradually and avoid sudden temperature changes to prevent thermal shock. Suitable for induction, gas, electric and ceramic hobs, ovens, BBQs and outdoor campfires. Use on a stable cooking surface and take care not to scratch glass or ceramic hobs. Avoid prolonged soaking, harsh detergents and abrasive cleaning products. Do not place in the dishwasher. Allow the skillet to cool before washing, dry immediately and store in a cool, dry place. Never leave the pan unattended while cooking and keep away from children when hot.
