Before first use, rinse the Chabrias 20cm (8 Inch) Round Pre-Seasoned Cast Iron Skillet with warm water and dry thoroughly. The skillet comes pre-seasoned with natural oils and is ready for cooking. Suitable for gas, electric, ceramic and induction hobs, ovens, BBQ grills and open campfires. Always use oven gloves or heat-resistant gloves when handling, as the pan and integrated handle become extremely hot during cooking and remain hot after use. Heat gradually and avoid sudden temperature changes to prevent thermal shock. Never leave the skillet unattended while heating and keep out of reach of children. Ensure the pan is positioned securely on a suitable cooking zone and avoid placing hot cookware directly onto unprotected worktops or surfaces. Allow the skillet to cool naturally before cleaning. Hand wash with warm water, mild detergent and a soft sponge or brush. Do not place in the dishwasher or leave soaking in water, as this may cause rusting. Dry immediately after washing and apply a thin layer of cooking oil to maintain the natural seasoning and protect against corrosion. Store in a cool, dry place.
