The Samuel Groves 2L Enamelled Cast Iron Casserole Dish is a compact, heavy-duty cast iron Dutch oven designed for soups, stews, casseroles, curries, braising, roasting and everyday home cooking. With a 2 litre capacity and 20cm diameter, this versatile casserole pot offers excellent heat retention and even heat distribution for consistent cooking results. The innovative 2-in-1 cast iron lid doubles as a sizzler plate, providing an additional cooking surface for searing steak, grilling vegetables and serving sizzling dishes. Finished in stylish Nardo Grey with a smooth cream enamel interior, this enamelled cast iron casserole dish is easy to clean and requires no seasoning. Integrated side handles provide a secure grip when moving the pot between the hob, oven and table. Suitable for induction, gas, electric, ceramic and AGA hobs, and oven safe up to 260°C, it is ideal for couples, smaller households and preparing smaller portions. Approximate weight: 4.5kg.

Always use oven gloves when handling the casserole dish, lid or handles, as cast iron becomes extremely hot during cooking. Place hot cookware on a heat-resistant surface and keep away from children. Avoid sudden temperature changes, such as adding cold water to a hot dish, as thermal shock may damage the enamel. Do not use if the cookware is cracked, chipped or otherwise damaged. Take extra care when lifting, as cast iron cookware is heavy. Allow the 2L casserole dish to cool naturally before washing.
