Each Premier Pruned Norway Spruce is selected for fine foliage, a fresh festive scent and strong, well-balanced branches to hold your decorations. Hand-picked for symmetry, shiny soft needles and overall quality, every tree is cut between 1.5m and 1.75m with an approximate width of 1.5m and arrives fully netted for protection. As natural, perishable products, Christmas trees vary in longevity depending on the individual tree, indoor surroundings and level of care; although many last comfortably past the New Year, no exact lifespan can be guaranteed. For best results, prepare the tree by sawing 2cm off the trunk before installation to create a fresh cut that reopens the pores for water absorption. Keep the tree away from radiators, fireplaces and other heat sources, as heat accelerates drying. Water daily using plain water only—never soil or sand, which blocks the bark. We recommend a Hydro or Cinco Christmas Tree Stand for secure support and proper hydration. Depending on central-heating settings, the tree may drink 2–3 pints (1–2 litres) of water per day.
