I believe I have been called on and directed to share my journey from resentment to acceptance as a way of reaching others who suffer from alcoholism and its residual effects on a persons emotional and social wellbeing. I want this work to be a beacon of hope and guidance for those who suffer and are in recovery. This is why it is written in a very humbling and simplistic manner. I want to reach those who had limited access to a literary education. I want this to be a book for all who suffer, regardless of their educational background. I believe this work I present is the spiritual and human solution that is within each and every person. I believe acceptance and gratitude for the life we are given is the solution to recover from a past existence marred by perceived failure, guilt, and shame. A want to bring optimism and hope into this world. One individual at a time.
