David Holmes gives Black Bag a tense, elegant score that plays like espionage music with the pulse kept just under the surface. Instead of big action cues, he works with suspicion, movement and controlled release - short themes, shadowy motifs and cool momentum that suit the film's clipped, high-stakes mood.
