When sparring, your knees are open to direct strikes (to the knees, for instance) or accidental impacts (knee to knee). So it is essential to keep your knees protected when going on the offensive. Sizing guide: To choose the size of your knee pads, measure around your thigh 8 cm above the knee: For size S/M, your thigh should measure between 37 and 43 cm. For size L/XL, your thigh should measure between 43 and 49 cm.
