The Nero set answers a familiar problem in a seating area, where one table is never quite where you are sitting and two matching ones are usually one too many. It arrives as a pair of C shaped tables cut from 25 mm particleboard, the taller standing 57 cm with a 40 cm by 25 cm top and the shorter 50 cm with a 30 cm by 25 cm top, each formed from a single upright rising off a full depth base plate. Because one side of every table is left open, the base can draw in beneath a low seat while the surface reaches out over the lap, which is what makes the pair as useful beside an armchair as in front of a sofa. Placed apart they bookend a seating group, pushed together their tops step down as one sculpted piece, and the set arrives in a single package for self assembly.
Composition: 25 mm particleboard panels throughout with a wood effect surface. Structure: each table is formed from one vertical panel joined to a full depth base plate, giving a C profile with one side left open, and there are no legs, no frame and no moving parts. Dimensions: taller table 40 cm wide, 25 cm deep and 57 cm high, shorter table 30 cm wide, 25 cm deep and 50 cm high, with the pair spanning 58 cm placed side by side. Weight: 10 kg for the set. Care: wipe with a soft dry cloth, and use a barely damp cloth on marks before drying the surface immediately. Avoid abrasive creams, solvent based cleaners and scouring pads, which will dull the finish. Keep the tables out of prolonged direct sunlight and away from radiators, and lift rather than drag them when rearranging. Assembly: self assembly with all fixings supplied in one package.
