The New Inca bedside cabinet is built for the gap most bedside tables cannot use. At 25cm wide and 32cm deep it slots between a mattress and a wall where a standard unit will not go, and the 60cm height brings the top level with most mattresses so nothing has to be reached down for. An open shelf sits at the top for a phone, glasses or a book left face down, while the compartment below closes behind a door cut with a laser pattern, which lets the door read as a detail rather than a plain panel. Taking the storage upwards rather than outwards is the only way to get a drawer's worth of space into a narrow gap, and the column shape means it can also stand at the end of a hallway or beside a chair without blocking the route through.

Made from 18mm melamine coated particle board in a matte finish, with a laser cut pattern on the door front. Overall size 25cm wide, 32cm deep and 60cm high, weighing 8kg, with one door and one open shelf. Wipe clean with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth and dry immediately. Do not use abrasive creams, scouring pads, bleach or solvent based cleaners, as these will mark the melamine surface, and take care not to force a cloth into the cut pattern. Use a mat or coaster under hot drinks and wet glasses on the top surface. Load the lower compartment first.
