Escape gives Desire's nocturnal synth-pop room to stretch, with sleek production, romantic tension and just enough shadow to keep the whole thing moving after dark. The 2xLP format suits the album, letting the slower burns and bigger hooks land with equal weight.'Black Latex', 'Liquid Dreams', the title track and 'Days & Nights' are instant draws, but this reissue works best as a full sequence. A strong return for a record built on glow, cool surfaces and emotional pull.SIDE ONE:1. Black Latex2. Telling Me Lies3. Liquid Dreams4. Love Is A CrimeSIDE TWO:1. Zeros2. Dark Age3.
