This variety provides strong seasonal colour and structure in garden borders and mixed planting schemes. During the growing season, the plant produces rich purple leaves that maintain their colour through summer. In early to mid-summer, airy clusters of soft, smoke-like flower plumes develop above the foliage, creating additional ornamental interest. In autumn, the leaves may develop warm shades of red and orange. Mature Size: Approx. 3–4m depending on growing conditions and pruning.
