This porcelain lamp is a fascinating hand painted landscape of an ancient Chinese farming village. The China blue and white watercolour painting is etched with highlights of metallic gold to bring the scene to life. The traditional pagodas have been illustrated as they are significant in Chinese architecture and have been around for centuries, often serving a religious purpose. Pagodas would often overlook the farmland and the farmers’ huts. Fitted with an in-line switch and takes an E27 low voltage bulb (maximum rating 60 watts).
